What Mr. Bell Had In Mind
What Mr. Bell Had In Mind
...was apparently this nicely-done General Motors/Jam Handy production aimed at salesmen concerning appropriate use of the telephone. It's two main points: 1) use the phone to identify prospects, not to sell, and 2) try to come across as a normal person, not an overbearing salesman. Includes a nice cameo by Don Ameche as A. G. Bell, in a humorously over-dramatized depiction of the invention of the telephone. Also some possibly useful footage of various people using vintage phones.
